We’ve got everything covered to make your experience as smooth as possible. Our beach offers convenient access to public toilets and a group changing area, providing a practical space for students to get ready for their activities.

For a residential trip, we also offer a beachside dining area and a BBQ space, perfect for enjoying meals by the sea. Plus, our cashless snack and ice cream kiosk is on hand for those looking for a little treat between activities.

On a FWA package, all equipment you’ll need for your adventure is included.  All equipment is maintained to the highest standard.  Our surf school centre is an AALA license holder.

First Wave Adventures Activity Centre is based at Great Western Beach in Newquay. As one of Newquay’s most central beaches and with its natural cove-like setting, it’s the perfect base for an activity centre.

In regard to the First Wave Adventures accommodation, we offer a similarly perfect location.

Location is perhaps never so important when travelling with dozens of excited school children! We understand that being stuck in the middle of nowhere with several coach journeys a day is no fun for anyone. Our accommodation is all located in fantastically convenient location, never far from the fun of the beach.

Our timetables are built on teacher feedback, with the need to limit transport a major consideration. As much as possible, we try to ensure once your coach is parked in Newquay, it won’t move again until you leave!
