‘Best Activity Day of the week.

We took a group of 30 students aged between 11 and 14 for Beach Activities and surfing instruction as part of the schools Activities week. Despite being Cornish – for many of the students it was their first time in the sea. We were met on the beach by 4 instructors and Annie-May – owner of the company. The students were quickly organised into 3 groups for the morning Beach activities which consisted of a) Beach Yoga,b) Beach Art, c) 5 aside football which they all enjoyed enormously.

After lunch the students then changed into wetsuits provided and had surf tuition on the beach before entering the sea. It was wonderful to see and hear students who would not normally have had this opportunity laughing, smiling and truly having fun. Some said it was the best day of their lives! With 4 instructors the activity was led well and all the students were safe. We will certainly be looking to book more activities next summer. Thank you!’

‘From start to finish First Wave Adventures have been a pleasure to work with. Our residential trip was smoothly organised and stress-free with regards to paperwork. The needs of our children were taken into consideration and an action packed two days was planned accordingly. The children loved spending so much time on the beach – the variety of activities on offer kept them busy and engaged; on top of this they learnt some extremely important lessons about beach safety. The body-boarding and surfing were the favourites – the instructors were energetic and enthused and encouraged the most reluctant of our children. The accommodation was spotless and the delicious food hit the spot after a long day. We will definitely be returning to Hotel Sunnyside with thanks to Annie and her team.’

Took a group of 42 Essex children down for 4 days, the whole trip was amazing there are no words to describe how much it was enjoyed by the staff and students.
